I am planning to attend an interview for a technical engineering position in Dublin in the last week of July. Can someone guide me what to wear according to the current weather in Dublin IE?

Will it be OK to wear a dress pant, a shirt and a tie with a warm jacket or is it hot there at this time to even think abut a jacket? Only visiting for approx 5 days just for the purpose of the interview, therefore worried abut the right clothing for the important moment.

  1. Dress smart for the interview - a suit is the standard here.

Bring a light rain-coat as it can rain quite a bit.

It won't be cold - but that's relative to where you come from.

Typically right now the daytime temp is up to the low to mid 20's, with night-time temps around 12 - 14 degrees.

Reasonably warm for the natives - but that could be real cold for someone from say Greece or Florida!!

if the above temps are below your limits for this time of year then maybe make the light raincoat slightly heavier!

    Enjoy the trip.

  2. hi you

we normally dress like most big cities now a days for your interview i would dress smart like you have out lined a dress pants, shirt and tie it would be wise to have i would give myself the option of a warm jacket or something that would go with what you wear as it will be hard to say if it will be warm or not and good luck with the interview

  3. uumm at the moment it is warmish, sunny and a few showers so you can bring light clothes but dont forget a rain coat. :)

  4. Dress smart for the interview etc.. at the moment we are having hot days up to bout 20degress celcius it gets a bit cloudy ((threat of rain)) and can get a bit breezey so maby if you have light trousers and a light tshirt say one heavy jumper. its summer time but its Ireland its known to rain!
