I'm leaving for Italy Monday, and I'm wondering how the weather is in Rome. Also, anyone have and tips on what TO do and what NOT to do? Any help would be welcome.

Be extremely cautious of your purse or bag, if you carry one, and make sure your most valuable items (passport, credit cards, identification) are somewhere on your person where they cannot be easily pick-pocketed.

Practice grazie (gratz-e-ay) and prego (pray-go) -- please and thank you in Italian.

  2. Nowadays the weather there is pretty humid.  I recommend going to the Museum where they have sculptures and paintings from the Renaissance time.  Or take a drive to Florence, Italy where there the Renaissance took place, it is a very famous tourist spot. But is usually very crowded.  If you do go, visit Brunelleschi's Dome.

  3. Have a nice trip!

    I have a tip:

when you are in the subway do not stand in front of the sliding doors.

Go inside the wagon, so people can easily enter/ get off.

    Ciao!!

  4. well im sure u already have everything set to go for monday but next time u decide to travel, try going to www.blessedliving.worldventures.com

Just by experience, they seem to have a heck of better deals then anywhere else I have looked. Just wanted to extend a lil info i have experienced. hope u have a wonderful time and stay safe. God Bless

  5. i can give you two restaurant tips for rome, one is near Via Veneto (near Villa borghese, beautiful garden to visit) , in the Via Sardegna, and it's called La Bruschetta, the other restaurant you can find behind stPeter&Paul (which you should visit absolutely!) and it's called Quattro Mori, even the pope eats here, it is cheap, the food is great (mainly seafood) . Than i'd visit Forum Romanum and the Collosseum , although it will be crowdy.

  6. Be aware of pickpockets and be aware of your surroundings. Take in as much of the culture as you possibly can. Be respectful of where you. There's tons of history in Rome, one paragraph on it can't do you justice. One place people commonly don't visit though is called Villa Borghese, there's some great art there. I think the weather should be pretty hot when you're there. And, oh yeah, eat some spaghetti...
