Visiting New York City next week, Suggestions?

We will be in New York City next monday thru Friday. We will be going to a Yankee game on Tues, Mets game on Wed and I would like to go to a show on Thurs. Any suggestions on a good authentic Italian and a good chinese restaurant. Also, which show would you suggest. My husband is a very quiet man who is not really looking forward to the show. Something he may be supprised to like. This is our 2nd trip so we went to little Italy and Chinatown before. I dont think we knew where to go.

Hop Kee in Chinatown, you have to bring your own liquor if you drink and Il Vagabondo for Italian, they even have a bocci ball court.  They also have their own website if you want to see further info.  Have a nice trip.  I live just outside NYC.  Me and my boyfriend are due for a trip there also.  It's been awhile and budget is tight.

I reccomend Wicked to you. I saw the musical Wicked two months ago on Broadway. It is amazing! It's great for adults and children. It's the prequal to the wizard of oz. The main charactars, G'linda and Elphaba (wicked witch of the west) are great singers! The show is very funny and the songs are really catchy. Visit this website for a summary(its the official site). Take him to "Blue Man Group" - it's like nothing you've ever seen and you'll laugh like crazy.

Then food: in Chinatown, the Nice Restaurant makes an amazing Peking Duck and isn't that expensive.  If you want to stay close to the theater (which is downtown), you can go anywhere on Second Avenue around St. Mark's Place - there's a ton of stuff there.
