  1. We stayed at the Doubletree in March and it was very nice (and cost efficient). Check on expedia.com for good hotel rates.

  2. it depends on what you want to spend and do and who your coming with ; a family or just you or two of you

Hockey fan, the dollars are almost on par, the American dollar might be worth 1.02 at a bank today

  3. I'm on the U.S. side. We have a ton of stuff to do here, too - but not the glitz of Clifton Hill. You DO have to see it. The Canadians did a great job with their Parks, the Butterfly Conservatory, golf courses...

    What do you like?

Your dollar becomes 60 cents when you cross the Bridge. We're used to it being the other way around.

Do you like History/ Stay in Lewiston (Lewiston-Queenston Bridge) and take in the forts at Youngstown (Fort Niagara) and the History of Queenston (War of 1812 here).

The Underground Railroad sites are everywhere.

I could go on and on.

Stay here. Eat here. But don't miss Clifton Hill.

How 'bout a ride on the Erie Canal?

A lot depends on when you're coming...

    Let me know...

  4. If you are travelling with children, you'll want to look for a hotel that is close to Clifton Hill, so that all of the family attractions are within walking distance:

    -Sheraton *on the* Falls

    -Brock Plaza

    -Days Inn

If you are travelling without kids, then you'll want to stay somewhere on Fallsview Blvd, to be within walking distance to the best dining and entertainment (casino, etc):

    -Marriott Fallsview

    -Embassy Suites

    -Fallsview Casino Resort

    -Sheraton *Fallsview*

    Have a great trip!

  5. Niagra Falls has everything in terms of hotels. Budget, mid-price, semi-luxury, and luxury. Please go to www.hotels.com and look at the descriptions of hotels in Niagra Falls, they will tell you the nightly rates, the hotel's features and amenities, and even photos of the hotel.

You can really find the perfect hotel for your tastes.

  6. I recommend staying on the Canadian side if you are planning a visit. All the attraction's are on my side. If you are on a budget, look in to the Balckstone Inn. It's a hidden gem no one know's about. Super clean room's and only $65 Dollar's a night. Only a 2 minute walk to Clifton Hill. So no need to pay for parking. My wife and i have been staying there for the past 3 year's. Great staff and Mike "the owner", great guy. The room's are so cheap cause the have no refrigerator's so bring a cooler. Well worth the money. And there is a heated pool and internet!!!! You won't find a better deal. Tell him Aaron sent you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the Hotel's in Niagara area total rip off. I feel sorry for tourists. Hope this help's you out
