  1. Clothing and accessories which dont trap that excess heat.

  2. depends what part of queensland.....

if your sticking around the south east / brisbane etc...then you will still need warm clothes but not exactly stuff you would wear in the snow.

Jeans/pants, t-shirt, jumper (or equivalent) and closed in shoes and definately warm pyjamas at night.

Sometimes in early morning and evening scarves and gloves can be good but it doesn't get really freezing here.

Pack a couple of singlet tops to wear under stuff in case it is a particularly cold day and at night you might want to throw a jacket over your clothes if your heading outside.

During the day if your in the sun it can get quite warm still so remember to layer up so you can shed the layers if you have to. Sometimes I find that a pair of jeans and a long sleeved t-shirt are enough during the day.

have fun in Qld! Oh and if your heading to north qld the weather is a bit warmer but you will still need warm clothes, but during the day you may only wear a t-shirt with jeans and throw a jumper on in the morning and evening.
