I am considering traveling to Scotland and I am just wanting to know firstly where in England is Scotland. Does most of the country have electricity. Are there roads and if so do they have cars. Could I rent a car from somewhere. Are there lockness monster sight seeing trips I can go on. Do Scottish speak english or do I need a translator. Can I use american dollars to buy things. Where is the nearest airport to Scotland. And my friend told me about the little haggis can you keep them as pets and can I take one back to the USA.

  1. Scotland is not in England.  And the rest of your question is just too stupid for me to answer...

  2. They say two things come from Texas, and you aren't a steer judging by your bizarre question.  It's so ridiculous i'm not even going to attempt to address any of the points in it.  Your question is a wind up right?

  3. OMG, what an ignorant question. At least it gives us a reason to perpetuate the stereotype of americans.

England and Scotland are two different countries by the way.

  4. Are all Texans complete d**k heads like you? God help America.

  5. If you are serious here, you need to read the article below to learn about Scotland.  Scotland is not in England.  They are two separate countries located in the British Isles.  Scotland is located north of England and is a very modern society...yes, they have electricity, yes they have cars, yes, you can rent a car, yes there are sightseeing tours around Loch Ness, yes, they speak English,  no, you cannot use American dollars there, and "haggis" is a traditional food, not an animal.

  6. nice joke, just don't get the bit about the haggis? why would you want one? have you ever tasted one?

I tasted the same one twice!

  7. Not even funny

  8. IGNORANT B****Y YANKS - and you are the most ignorant of them all.

SCOTLAND NEVER HAS BEEN, NOR EVER WILL BE, PART OF ENGLAND - unlike Texas which used to be part of Mexico!

Scotland not only has electricity - it exports it to England.

The Scots, unlike the yanks, do speak English.

DO NOT bother coming to Scotland - we can do without idiots like you.

  9. Is this a joke???

**I am considering traveling to Scotland and I am just wanting to know firstly where in England is Scotland.**

Thats like asking where in Canada is the USA.

**Does most of the country have electricity. ** yes

**Are there roads and if so do they have cars. ** Yes

**Could I rent a car from somewhere. ** Yes

**Do Scottish speak english or do I need a translator. **

    We speak Turkish.

**Can I use american dollars to buy things. ** Errrr no! Scotland is not in America!

**Where is the nearest airport to Scotland. **

Scotland has one major airport with flights to all over the USA, Glasgow International. www.flyglasgow.net

  10. You sir,  are either very stupid or a troll or more than likely  both.... You Mexicans.......

  11. We take our haggis out a walk every day and our money is plastic coins like monopoly, whats electricity? we use candles for light and burn dead haggis for heat, we don't have airports but you can use our flying saucers for nothing and land in anywhere as we don't have high buildings and you do need a translator in Scotland as we talk different from the English - you plonker!

  12. Scotland is the capital City of England, where the Queen lives. There are no proper roads, only small, narrow man made lanes. There is absolutely no electricity at all as we cannot afford it and wouldn't even know how to work it properly. We do not have cars either so renting one is out of the question. There are loads of loch ness monsters roaming all over the place. I am sure you will need a translator or phrase book to understand a word we are saying as it is a very difficult language to understand. Of course you can use your American dollar to buy things. The nearest airport is a place called Nirvana. Haggis are very rare and difficult to catch creatures as they can run, fly and also swim very fast. If you are lucky enough to catch one, you won't be disappointed as they taste fantastic, but you will not be able to take one back to the USA. Hope you have a great time!

  13. Scotland is not part of England! It is a separate country to the north of England. If you go there don't ever say to anyone that Scotland is part of England! Scotland IS part of Great Britain and the United Kingdom.

Of course they have electricity and cars and you can rent a car in any of the big cities like Glasgow and Edinburgh. Almost everybody speaks English, some  also speak Scots, which is like English, and in the remote parts of the Highlands they speak Gaelic which is nothing like English.

Plenty of roads although in the remote areas some of these roads are only one lane.

You have to use UK currency in Scotland.  They have here own banknotes.

There are airports in Glasgow and Edinburgh and a few other cities.

You can take boat trips on Loch Ness but I doubt you will see "Nessie"

Haggis is a food not a pet. It's oatmeal and spices and other stuff cooked in a sheep's stomach.

I kind of agree with the first person regarding your questions,  and wondered if you were joking, but I gave you the benefit of the doubt since I see you're from Texas.
