Vista Internet help!!!!!?

allright I just got dsl like 3 weeks ago so im kinda new to all of this.

I installed my service pack my isp gave me and I created a connection.I have a router sharing 3 computers.

the problem, every time I log off or shut down the internet says access: local only or something like that. people say restarting your computer works. well it works like 45 percent of the time. how do i create a connection that wont do this while i log out or shut down?

no smart answers saying vista sucks cause thats no help.

open internet- go to tools- internet options- connections- LAN Settings- uncheck EVERYTHING- restart.
