Question:

Vista locking problem.?

In the last few days my laptop has been deciding to lock itself upon hibernation. There's probably an option to stop this, but I'm clueless as to where. Any ideas welcome.

Cheers!

  1. You will always be logged out of your account after Vista hibernates. As far as I'm aware (although I could be wrong) there is no way to prevent this as it's a intruder prevention feature.

  2. you might not have enough space on the hard drive for the hibernation feature to work.

but it's probably a driver issue, or compatability issue with one of the things you have recently put on, or even with a update from microsoft.

i think that is one of the reasons that they have removed hibernation in vista now. i no longer have the feature on my laptop after downloading all the updates.
