Vista or Norton Internet security are not allowing my lan connection or wireless PC card to connect?

I cannot connect to internet from any source, via my wired lan connection or wireless PC broadband card

You can connect your computer to a wireless LAN easily for this you will need wireless network name and password for the LAN. Another thing for this your PC must be a Wi-Fi or wireless-enabled computer and you can use the Windows Wireless Connection tool for the fastest results on a PC.

• First open network connection dialogue box from start menu and then click on internet connections.

• Open "Network Connections" and click to "Wireless Network Connection." A wireless network configuration window will appear.

• Click on Wireless Networks then you will see text boxes for your wireless network name and password.

• Enter your network name and also enter your password too.

• Choose "OK" to exit out of the wireless configuration window. Your settings will be saved. Your computer will join the wireless LAN whenever it's in range of the router.
