Vista sleep problem?

Question

Someone at my house (I think) turned off the computer into sleep mode instead of turning it off. Now I can't turn it on. Says it's in power save mode. Tried keyboard and mouse -- nothing. Held the on/off button down -- it turned off and I turned it back on again, but nothing's different. Help!

Is it connected to the mains supply?

Plugging it in usually switches off the power save mode.
