Visual Boy Advanced cheats - Pokemon Fire Red

Question

I have recently downloaded Visual Boy Advanced, a game boy emulator for Macs. I also got the ROM for Pokemon Fire Red ( The enhanced version of Pokemon Red) I wanted to put cheats in and thought it would be fairly easy, but I thought wrong. Unlike on PC's there are numerous boxes to enter cheats in, instead of one. Meaning I can't put the master code into one box, I was just wondering if anyone know how I can successfully enter a cheat into VBA for Mac

click  cheat list then click  game shark then put you code
