Visual C 2008 "how" question

I'm using Visual C 2008 and I just want to know how to create a project from the start page, I named my project "object" but I don't know what to do after that. So what should I know about making the project?

From the menu: File -> New -> Project.

You have to choose what kind of project it will be. For simple command line programs, choose Win32 Console Application.
