What's the difference between the two? and at the public library that I go to I checked out a book teaching about visual C#.net 2005. Is it okay that i do lessons in that book if 2005's not going to be too outdated, or should I try and find a book for 2008 version.

  1. You will be okay.  2008 uses the .Net 3.5 framework.  There are a few differences between 2.0 and 3.5 (WFC, Linq, etc.), but nothing that would hinder you from learning C#.
