Visual Web Developer Tutorial

Question

assuming I know nothing about Microsoft Visual Web Developer (I don't know anything!) I would like a tutorial for making a moderatley advanced website and how to publish it to the internet

any help will be much appreciated!

First you need to learn html and css to make a quality webpage.  Then hosting with yahoo is probably the best and the cheapest for what they offer.  More advanced would be php (scripting), mysql(database), etc.

Try www.asp.net website you will get some nice video tutorials over there.
