Vital organs falling out?

I had a dream that this man skinned this religious woman. He skinned her back and she didn't seem very phased or didn't know and as she was walking away her back was all flesh and her husband said - don't move - or all of your vital organs will fall out and you will die?

What does this mean?

I didn't wake up scared.

Are you religious? Are you considering getting religious? Has religion interfered or intervened in your life lately? These are all questions this dream is asking you to ask yourself.

Skin in dreams is usually symbolic of how we protect ourselves ('thick skinned' people). To see this woman have her very protective layer peeled off of her did not frighten you & it did not frighten her - her body was being revealed, her 'vital organs' were being revealed, and she still had no fear. Are you hiding something that you need to reveal? Or is someone 'skinning' you, and taking away your protective covering? Is someone skinning you & it isn't phasing you? If that's the case, your dream is showing you that you are strong & able to deal well with negative views of others. Or, it could be showing you that you need to reject the negative views of others b/c this woman had no fear, nor should you.

Vital organs could be symbolic of secrets in this case. Has someone revealed your secrets (better yet, has someone exposed you/skinned you without your permission)? Or do you wish someone would expose your secrets? If these secrets get exposed will it be the death of you?
