Vitali Klitschko, Tomasz Adamek attend presser ahead of their bout – Boxing news
The Ukrainian professional Heavyweight boxer, Vitali Klitschko met with his next opponent Tomasz Adamek to finalise the terms and conditions of their upcoming bout at Wroclaw, Poland.
Klitschko will be facing Adamek in their 12-round competitive bout on September 10, 2011 at the Municipal Stadium in Wroclaw, Poland. The World Boxing Council’s (WBC) Heavyweight title will be on stake which will be witnessed by a crowd of 40,000 people.
During their press conference, Klitschko spoke to the press and said, “I like to fight here in Poland. I have been visited Poland many times in my life. I have been living here previously. I have many friends from Poland and many good reminiscences attached
to that country.”
Talking about his fight Klitschko said that because he is going to fight with the Polish boxer, the most important thing for him is the fight and its result.
Klitschko believes that if a boxer does not have immense power and strength to win a world title then he is not regarded as a good fighter. Tomasz is going to avail that chance to become a world titlist in that competitive bout.
Tomasz was also of the view that Adamek is not an easy opponent to fight with. He said he has skills, good physical condition and a lion heart to defeat tough boxers.
Tomasz Adamek on the other hand is very excited and determined to take the championship bout. He is now coming to the ring after winning 13 of his consecutive fights. He believes that he is now in much better position as he has been in his last competitions.
Adamek said, “In both Heavyweight and Cruiserweight they all said I was too small, and now it's (heavyweight) a hard weight class. As he (Vitali) gets older he's trying to do impossible things. I have shown that with determination you can win. I have a
great trainer who taught me a lot since I started working with Andrew and they used to pound me. This lets me know that you can always beat the strongest people.”
After this successful press conference boxing, fans from Poland and Ukraine are expecting that the fight between the two would be interesting one. Let’s see how it goes ahead.
