Vitali Klitschko reckons Tomasz Adamek is the most difficult fighter – Boxing news
The current World Boxing Council’s world heavyweight champion, Vitali Klitschko, also known as Dr. Ironfist, reckons that the Granite chin, Tomasz Adamek, who is known for having an exceptionally sturdy chin, is the one of the most difficult fighter in the
world.
The 6 ft 8” Ukrainian giant Vitali Klitschko and the 34-year-old Polish pugilist Tomasz Adamek were in the middle of the town square at City Hall in Wroclaw for their final World Boxing Council Championship pre-fight press conference and Vitali admitted
Adamek will be one of his toughest tests thus far.
The 40-year-old Vitali, who holds a record of winning 42 of his 44 professional fights, with 39 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, told the media he has done special preparations to face Adamek, as Vitali believes Adamek can surprise him in the
ring.
While speaking on his inclusion, he said, “I know Tomasz Adamek is the most difficult fighter. He is very fast, very good condition. This fight will not be easy for me and this is why the preparation was special. Why special? Because I have a special opponent
and I have special surprises. The surprises you can see in the ring.”
Vitali also commented on his younger brother Wladimir Klitschko’s bout with the Hayemaker David Haye which was held on July 2, 2011 at the Hamburg Football stadium, in Germany. Vitali thinks Haye only knows how to do trash talk whereas in Adamek’s case,
it is a different story.
Vitali remarked, “Everybody watched the Vladimir - Haye fight. David Haye is the biggest talker; Tomasz Adamek is the strongest fighter. Behind my brother and me is Tomasz.”
In the end, Vitali revealed he likes Adamek as he knows he is a skilled fighter but on the same note he said he will keep everything aside on the fight night.
“I kind of like you Tomasz, maybe after this fight we can be friends, but on Saturday there will be no friendship between us,” he said.
