IS VITAMIN WATER, ENERGY BAD FOR A 13 YEAR OLD. IT CONTAIN 50MG OF CAFFEINE AND LIKE 22 MG OF GUARNA PER 20 OZ.

  1. Well i had an energy drink before and i was fine but i guess it depends on how a person is.


  2. What is it being used for.

    Energy drink makers and I guess even the vitamin water too is not made for kids and the makers do not recommend giving it to kids 12 and under. Once you are in your teens you can handle them better but you should still be active and need an actual energy boost. Most people misuse them in the first place so that is why I say this.

    Guarana is mostly caffeine so I think the caffeine content is going to actually be higher than the stated 50mg. Unless the only caffeine is from the guarana.

    The only thing to really watch out for is dehydration. Caffeine takes more water to process than the drink contains. So it takes it from your body which dehydrates us. When dehydrated we become tired. So you need to drink extra water to prevent this from happening. Especially if you are going to be active and exercising. The last thing you want to do is to make yourself dehydrated.
