Vitesse Arnhem hoping to re-sign Chelsea FC’s Slobodan Rajkovic on loan – Dutch Eredivisie news
Reports in Dutch media suggest that Vitesse Arnhem are hoping to acquire the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Slobodan-Rajkovic-c33708 on loan from Chelsea FC. The 22-year-old played the entire 2010/11 campaign on loan at GelreDome Stadion.
The Serbian stopper arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2007 after spending two seasons with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/OFK-Beograd-c40109. However, the promising youngster is yet to make his debut with West London outfit, as he has played for three different Eredivisie outfits,
on loan, since his arrival at Stamford Bridge.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Twente-c39233 Enschede and the outfit from Arnhem have been his trainers in Netherlands.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vitesse-c40905 are looking to strengthen their side in the ongoing summer transfer market before the 2011/12 season commences. Merab Jordania, Vitesse chairman, has set his sights on forging the outfit from Arnhem into a force to be reckoned with in the seasons
to come. Manager Van den Brom has been awarded a 50 million Euro transfer kitty to match the ambitions.
In the 2010/11 season, the outfit from Arnhem finished 15th in the league table, and the manager is hoping to bring reinforcements to the squad to compete successfully in the upcoming campaign.
The Dutch trainer revealed that his need reinforcements in midfield and defence if they have any intentions of finishing better.
“We are vulnerable in midfield, we are vulnerable at the back and on the wings”, Van den Brom said while talking to the media.
The 22-year-old, who performed impressively at the back-line in the season ended at GelreDome Stadion, is one of the major candidates to be added by the Dutch trainer in the ongoing summer transfer market.
However, should the Serbian International gain a UK work permit before the 2011/12 campaign commences, chances of the youngster arriving at GelreDome Stadion for another loan spell would be rather slim.
