Reports from GelreDome Stadion confirm that Chelsea and Newcastle United are taking keen interest in signing Vitesse Arnhem striker, Wilfried Bony, before the ongoing summer transfer window slams shut.
The Ivorian ace, who joined the Arnhem outfit half-way through the 2010/11 season after representing Sparta Prague in over 50 league appearances, has been performing consistently at GelreDome Stadion since his arrival.

His impressive performances have not gone unnoticed, as a couple of English Premier League sides have expressed their interest in luring the striker away from GelreDome Stadion before the start of the 2012/13 season.
However, the Vitesse management has made it clear that they do not want to part ways with the Ivorian international, and have insisted that any interested parties will need to table a bid in excess of 14 million Euros, if they
are to land his signature this summer.
