Arsenal goal keeper, Vito Mannone has stated that he wants to fight for a starting position in the Arsenal squad. The Italian keeper is confident that he has the experience and the capabilities to be rather decent in the Premier League and is hopeful that Arsene Wenger feels the same way.
Mannone joined Hull City last season, on a loan deal and went on to feature in ten games for the team. In those ten games, Mannone went on to help the team secure twenty one points, which is a highly impressive feat for such a young keeper.
The keeper feels that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukasz-Fabianski-c22910 are decent, but he could prove to be better than the two, should he be given the opportunity to do so.
Mannone, when talking about the team’s pre-season and his ambitions for the upcoming season, is quoted to have said: "It's going well.
"I'm focused here. I'm having a good pre-season with Arsenal and I'm trying to fight hard for the place."
He then went on to talk about the fans in Asia and how he was overwhelmed by the reception that they gave the team.
He added: "I've enjoyed pre-season - there is a bit more focus on the training and the fans have been incredible, especially when we went to Asia."
Mannone signed for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 in 2006 and has since gone on to spend two terms, away on loan from the club. His first loan deal came immediately after his signing; when he went on to join Barnsley, where he played four games for the team. He then joined Hull City, for whom he played ten games. Over the course of his career with Arsenal, he has played nine games for the Gunners and has been more than half decent in all those games.
Arsenal have been suffering for a goal keeper crisis, for nearly three years now. The team used to rely on the talents of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-Almunia-c23386, but that didn’t get them very far. As a result, they opted to turn to Szczesny and Fabianski.

However, with Almunia almost certain to leave the team, it seems like the Gunners will keep a hold of Mannone, which could eventually land him the opportunity to shine for the team.
