Taking over from Andre Villas-Boas and leading the Portistas to an even better season was always going to be an arduous task if not impossible. The Portuguese tactician guided the club to an unprecedented quadruple and forever carved his name into football

However the Porto hierarchy have kept faith in Pereira and have allowed him to continue doing his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684. President Pinto da Costa has also alleged his support to the trainer and said that he can guarantee that he will only leave after his contract runs out.
Speaking to reporters, the superemo said that although every coach is judged by what kind of results they achieve, he assured that Vitor Pereira would remain at Porto till his contract expired.
"The future of every coach and player depends on results, but I can guarantee that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vitor-c36281 Pereira will see out his two-year contract with Porto. Most people who criticize him do not have the slightest knowledge of football to be able to evaluate Vitor Pereira
or anyone else."
He also added that the critics praised the Dragao boss when things went their way but ridiculed him when they did not. But he was not affected by this and will not change his decision to sack Pereira.
"The others do not know anything about his work; they based their judgment on results: when they are good, the coach is good, when they are bad, so is the coach. That kind of criticism does not change my decisions, nor do they affect the coach,” Pinto da
Costa was quoted as saying.
While the Porto official reiterates that the manager will not be relieved of his duties anytime soon, if things do not start shaping up for the Azure e Brancos, Vitor Pereira will undoubtedly be given the boot.
