Vivitar camera pictures just disapeared!?

so i have a load of pictures on my camera, and i was looking at them on a old laptop just yesterday, but when i go to look at them on my sisters new laptop, it doesnt work, and later on this evening i go to look at them on another laptop, and it says i have no pictures on my camera. My sisters camera, which is exactly the same as mine, also tried to look at her pictures on her laptop, and they have dissapeared too!

where could they possibly have gone? they havent been deleted by any of us, so what happened? does anyone know? :( can i get them back?!

When you looked at them on the laptop, the laptop might have automatically copied them to the laptop then deleted them from your camera.  Look at that old laptop again the same way you did before and see if they're still there.
