Vizio LCD TV (Model VW47L) ... Sound Problems??

I recently purchased one of these units. I absolutely love the quality and crispness of the picture on this TV ... even in standard definition TV. Let's face it ... a whole lot better than the old 27" tube set.

I noticed, however, that right after I turn on the TV and the DirecTV satellite box, maybe 5 to 10 seconds later, the sound quits ... kinda like someone pushed the Mute button. If I turn both the TV and Box off, wait about 10 seconds, and then turn them back on again, everything works fine. Is it perhaps a function of the universal remote (Logitech Harmony 520), or it is an issue with the TV and satellite box combination? Has anyone had this experience? I would appreciate feedback soon because if it is the TV, I want to get it back to the store for an exchange soon.

Sounds like a remote conflict.  Try changing the channel on your DTV remote.  Call tech support for info on how to do  this, some models may not be able to do this.
