Don't if figure! Two months out of warrantee. My picture tends to look like a laptop computer after you've unplugged it from the wall and gone to battery. In the laptop's case you are then running on half power, which it what my tv appears to be doing.
All the colors appear to be correct and present. The picture is just way faded and dark. I do notice some grey/black clouding around the edges as well.
Now, I know that these things have component boards in them. Is this something that I can do? I was an electrician in a former life and have replaced component boards, but have no experience in replacing components within boards.
