Vizio VOJ320F1A connect to Panasonic DMP-BD35

I have a newer Blue Ray by Panasonic and the above mentioned Vizio LCD. I'm using the HDMI3 port and cable with no picture. When I change it to the HDMI3 there is a 8 blanked space for some kind of a code. I need to know what this is to try to get the blue ray working.Thank You.Robert.
