Vizio audio cutting out

Hello, I have the Vizio 46" LCD which is about a year and a half old.I have just recently started experiencing the sound completely cutting in and out.It will go out,come back on for a second or two,then go back off.I have DirecTV HD for the signal.I would think it was the satellite signal,but I don't lose the video signal.Can anyone give assistance on this one..Thanks,Joe
