VlSA To HONG KONG needed, YES or NO?

Not sure whether we (from US) need a visa go travel in Hong Kong . . . What else is necessary to enter Hong Kong? (Not mainland China because I know you need a visa if you want to go there).

I don't think you actually need one but you should email somebody to check first before you travel!

Yes, it is still part of China. I just applied for Grad school and part of it is in China. You definitely need a visa and depending on why you want to go makes it easier or more difficult to obtain.

Normally these days, a VISA is required due to the terrorist threats world wide. However, there are many situations when the VISA is not required.

No, U.S. citizens do not need a visa to visit Hong Kong.  See site below and read under "Entry Requirements.

as a US citizen, you don't need a visa to visit hong kong for the first 90 days.
