He is well known for his all round-style and is known as 'Tai Chi Master' in China.
Men’s Singles final round was the last event at 2011 Morocco Open in Rabat, which was played between Vladimir Samsonov and Jean-Michael Saive.
Samsonov went off to a flying start and dominated the first three games, giving absolutely no chance to Michael Saive. In the fourth set Saive got a good start and seemed as if he will catch up with the former champion.
Samsonov broke the flow and won the game by 4-0 as he was finally declared the winner of Men’s Singles in Morocco Open 2011.
First set

Scores were tied at 2-2 as the second game started, but soon Samsonov took a lead of four points in the second set by 6-2. Samsonov was at the set point advantage, when Saive reached to the 6th point and could add only two more points to the total,
before Samsonov won the set by 11-8.
Third Set
Samsonov played like a champion to achieve the title for the third time and scored the first four points in the third set. Saive only managed three points before the game was awarded to Samsonov as it finished at 11-3.
Fourth Set
Jean-Michael Saive came back in the game with a good performance as he scored the first four points in the fourth and dragged the advantage to 6-1. Samsonov was well aware of the situation and was keeping a close eye on the lead as he managed to equal the
scores at 9-9.
Fourth set was tied several times, before Samsonov finished the match by winning the set at 18-16 and he successfully won his third Moroccan Open.
