Question:

Vlady Guerrero or Jason Bay??

I had Jason Bay, but after he was traded to Boston I dealt him for Vlady. (I'm an avid Rays fan and have been for years, and couldn't bear the thought of rooting for a BoSock while the Rays were in the middle of their first pennant race.)

I think Bay will explode in Boston's lineup with the Green Monster in left, but how can you argue with Vlad's 35-40 homers, .300 average, and 110 RBIs?

Who do you think is the better fantasy option for the last two months of '08?

  1. vlad will never hit 35-40 homers anymore. better fantasy option for last two months is bay.

  2. Vlad didn't go over 30 for the first time last year.  He isn't a streaky hitter.  He isn't likely to have a huge month to get his numbers to where we think they should be.  Vlad did get some help with the addition of Tex but Bay is the better option.  He looks to have regained his form that he lost last year.  The green monster+power righty= big numbers

  3. I agree with jayjay, unless Vlad becomes superman the rest of the year he is starting to play like he's in the latter years of his career. He is still good, but not Jason Bay good.

  4. sorry but i have to say bay...vlad i have him on 3/6 fantasy teams..i believe he will produce atleast 100 rbi's with a .290 batting avg but he isnt the same vlady that couldve hit 35-40 hrs but i expect him to give us atleast 28-30 hrs by the end of this season. And bay gave you SB's too.
