Voice Editing?

I know they edit the voice on a cd (obviously)

But do they edit voices when:

It's like a live show on TV?

A DVD or Live Cd that a band/artist releases?

When a band/artist performs live on a radio station?

It can be done live with DJ equipment etc. to fix up the voice.
