Voice Question............. ?

My voice is a little higher than "Josh Turner's" (The country singer), when i listen to it when I talk. ( I hear it in my head). But when I record my voice it sounds really WEIRD, higher pitched and like I have a stuffy nose but my sinuses are clear and fine.

Is the voice I hear in my head the real sound or my camera's recording the real sound? (PS I have no ear problems so my hearing isn't distorted)

  1. Neither.

The voice in your head resonates, so the low frequencies are emphasized.

The recorder in your camera probably sux (most of them do), so the low frequencies are cut.  To accurately get an idea what you sound like, you'd need a better quality recording.

Don't worry, I'm sure you sound fine ;)
