Voice acting,how to get stated if your shy?

I'm 15 years old and i want to become an voice actress but ,I'm shy and I'm scared to speak in front of a lot of people i have no experience in theater and i try to look up on the the internet of how to get started in voice acting and they always say start with theater but I'm kind of a shy person and the classes that teach you how to voice act are very expensive or always in LA or far off the US.i live in Yonkers ny so voice acting class are no where to be found. can someone help

ok what you need to do is first take a speech class. thats the class you take when you're shy and you need work on social skills. so i suggest you take that. after you finish it i guarantee you won't be shy anymore.

People who go on to become voice artists take acting classes. You don't necessarily need t be in drama or anything. If you dont want to take classes then watch actors on tv and try to develop your acting on your own. When youre ready to offer your voice there are sites that look for voice over artists. Most require you to pay for subscvription but you can find roles you turn in over the internet without having to go to a studio.
