  1. It is 1571, 1471 is to check the last number that called you.

I have left many very long messages on it and never been cut off. There is nothing in the BT info to warn you of any time limit, I think as it is digital and stored at the central base, there may not be a limit. I have had messages from people who have forgotten to disconnect the call, and have heard the rest of their conversation for ages before they realised and disconnected.

As long as there is a connection and sound it will keep recording.

  2. Do you mean 1571. I think you have 30 seconds.

  3. I am not sure that you mean 1471, that is the service provided to hear the last caller and then have the choice to call them back ?

  4. try it and count...1471 is free but I think it says the number twice and gives you the option to repeat it or just hangs up.

if you mean 1571 I havent got a clue.

  5. 1471 tells the subscriber the number of the last caller (unless the number is 'withheld'. 1571 is the BT free answering service and records until the caller hangs up ! ! !
