  1. YES!  There are volcanoes on every continent on the earth.  Even on the floors of the ocean.  Here is a link or two to show you there names/locations.

    Reader,

A large region of Canada, which includes Quebec and Ontario is a section of the Earth's crust called a CRATON. A craton is the oldest part of the Earth's crust, which formed more than three billion years ago. (Other cratons include Brazil, much of Africa, Siberia, and western Australia.) The rocks of a craton are volcanic, produced beneath the ocean. Most of a craton has been subjected to at least some mountain building, and so it has undergone some compression and heating.

  3. as of my knowledge, no. i think the closest one to canada is the ones in Washington state, or California i think there is a few small ones

  4. Canada has examples of almost every type of volcano found on earth, including stratovolcanoes, calderas, cinder cones, shield volcanoes, maars, submarine volcanoes and tuyas.

Most of Canada's volcanoes are located in British Columbia. Several mountains that many British Columbians look at every day are dormant volcanoes. Most of them have erupted before, and others have the potential to erupt in the near futur
