Volenteer Help?

So I really wanted to volenteer in an animal shelter, but the one near my house, you have to be 18. What do you think is a good thing to do for volunteer hours?

There are lots of ways and lots of places to volunteer.  From helping the elderly and handicapped take out their trash and help with shopping to becoming a tutor at your school.  If you really want to work with animals, seek out a veterinarians office; they may need help.  You can also call the local wildlife service or state/national parks in your area.  they often need guides and tour leaders.

Does a local church or food bank need help collecting, or in a soup kitchen?

Is there a Key club or Circle K Club near you?  They are national youth organizations which specialize in service.
