Voller expects Leverkusen win at Rosenborg

The Bayer Leverkusen sporting director is targeting all three points against the Norwegian outfit in the UEFA Europa League.
Bayer Leverkusen are currently second in Group K with one point from the one game played and will take on Rosenborg in their next European clash at the Lerkendal Stadium on Thursday, October 4. The Germans played a 0-0 draw in
their first game at home against Metalist Kharkiv whereas Rosenborg are leading the table with a 2-1 win over Rapid Wien in their opening clash.
Rudi Voller is targeting all three points against the Norwegian giants in the upcoming clash and insisted that his side will go into the game with the mindset of winning. The chief stressed that the team will be looking to win
their games and achieve qualification for the next stage, in order to focus on the Bundesliga.

string side.
“Clearly, we are going to try and win in Trondheim. We want to secure qualification from the group as quickly as possible. But the task will not be easy. It is of course difficult to win, but we must be aware that the chance is
there,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, Rosenborg manager Jan Jonsson claimed that the Norwegians will be looking to capitalise on the win against Rapid Wien in the first fixture. He wants his side to defend well against the Germans has insisted that
the team cannot afford to lose at this stage of the competition.
“We are boosted by the events in Vienna and the way we've played at home in the past. We should be well organised and defend well, but have faith in what we can do when we get the chance,” he concluded.
Bayer Leverkusen are coming from an impressive 2-0 win over Greuther Furth in the Bundesliga at home.
