Volley ball, need an awnser asap please, it is about mananger?

Question

so i tried out my freshmen year and wow

i thought that i wwas doing so good

and i always had a postive attitude

and the coached ask my name 4 times @ tryouts

i was so happy

i made the first cut

but not the second

i was so hurt

i was crying for 1 week, it hurt alot

so yah and then coached ask me to be manager

and then all of the girls like were mad @ me for being the manager

and like even my friends

why??

Try asking the coach what he/she saw during your tryout that maybe you didn't. Once he/she start explaining... then LISTEN to him/her. What you take out of that conversation and what you do about it.... might be the difference whether or not you make the team next year. Right now, you are in a really good spot, you can watch the team, find out what the coach is looking for and what he/she wants from his/her players and make some mental notes. This will definitely help you over everyone else for next season. Good Luck

thats weird. the only thing the manager does

is do the book and get to go to the away games with

them. and yea the home ones too. and help out

the coach in practice.

i wud rather b playin than being the manager.

so i dont c y they are getting. mad.

BCUZ EVEN THOUGH YOU DIDNT GET TO BE ON THE TEAM BEING MANAGER IS PRETTY AWESOME! SO IN THE END YOU MAY HAVE GOTTEN A BETTER DEAL....

they may just get mad because you are manager AND a vball player. i'm a junior, and i have been the team manager SINCE junior high. i manager freshman, junior varsity, and varsity. they may not be all that mad, but you sometimes have to understand, that what if your friend got to be manager with control and just being with the coach. how would that fell? i mean, being manager is cool and all, but you have to remember your team is the most important. they probably just got mad of the fact that you were getting a little bit more attention. you had your moment, and now its time to get back in the game and be with your friends/ team. trust me, they will get over it, and just tell them, hey, if you have any problems, come talk to me, let them know that YOU are always there for them! if you have any other questions at all, i would be more than welcome to answer them! good luck! and congradulations!!! :)
