  1. you have always been allowed to use your legs, or any other body part. A few years back you could not kick at the volleyball, but it if contacted your foot, "accidently" it was always ok.

Now you can kick it, lift it, and all sorts of stuff. The game is getting watered down alot, net serves, rally scoring, accidental net calls, are all legal

I liked it much better when you had to serve for a point, and be a volleyball player to win games, but I understand the attempt to bring in new players, by making the rules easier for them..

So keep kicking away, instead of reading the hitter and reacting!

  2. In the lastest new rules, yes, every single body part is allowed for volleying. (You may want to avoid using private part...)

  3. yes you can use leg for volleying, before 5 years back it is not allowed, now the game is fast improving and making the game more s**y

  4. I have not seen a rule change yet at the high school level.  Last year's rule book still stated that a legal contact was any body part above the waist.  It is allowed in beach though.
