Question:

Volleyball Festival?

I have to fund raise $1,000 to go to Reno.

I don't have enough time for a job and I try selling candy but no one wants to buy from me.

Does anyone have any good ideas for fundraising or know anyone that likes to give money to poor kids for volleyball?

  1. I work with a company that has several great ways to do fundraisers, either by yourself or with a group. Email me at ds_music_now@yahoo.com for more details - I'd be happy to help you make the funds for volleyball festival!

    Good luck -

  2. I take it you a younger due to your not having time for a job. I'm surprised then that your coach isn't setting fund raising up for you to go. Or are you going alone to watch, or play? Are your parents going with you if you pay for yourself?

Ask your mom and dad for help. If you are going alone, it's tough to raise money just by asking.

You have to work hard at maintaining a schedule, maybe give up an activity or two so you can find a part-time job.

Time can be managed, If you set a schedule, it's easy. Young people tend to think they don't have time for anything. Trust me, when you are young, you have plenty of time, you just don't know how to manage it. :)

  3. when you are selling the candy do you tell them what it is for?

festival is a fun one and not going because you didnt have enough money would def suck. i have no money to go, but i am done with club volleyball (im 19 now *tear*). try telling people that you are trying to go to this tournament where college scouts are so that you can play at a good school and play volleyball. good luck
