Volleyball Help Quick!!!!!!?

Question

ok. I'm trying out for Seniors tomorrow (I'm in grade 8) and i played Juniors last year and was good but i don't know how to SERVE OVERHAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the coach is pretty tough but I'm good at everything except over hand.

cause ive never done it before

The way I found personally for me to get good at the overhand serve is simply just practicing over and over. That aside...

Please note this is assuming you are left handed:

Start with you left foot slightly in front of your right, hold the ball out with your left hand and bring your right hand back behind your head (think of it as pulling a bow and arrow back) to hit the ball take a small step foward with your left foot while throwing the ball just a couple feet higher than your head (don't chuck the ball twenty feet into the air) REMEMBER THAT IF YOU WERE TO NOT HIT THE BALL IT SHOULD LAND IN FRONT OF YOUR RIGHT FOOT WHEN YOU THROW IT, hit the ball a little bit underneath halfway to keep it low over the net will not letting it fly off like an overhand serve.
