  1. First of all listen to the trainer ice and Advil or ibuprofen are the best things for your shoulder right now. Stretch your arm across your body pulling it tighter Every time. Then go over your head pulling your elbow down then get a partner and have them Gently pull your arms behind you until you feel nice and stretched. You don't need to keep off your arm I think just use it carefully. In practice take a little off your serving or hitting because you need to learn how to manage your body.  That is my opinion just be careful with what you do you do not want your pulled muscle to become a tear.

  2. i also play freshman volleyball.

if i was you i would ice it after every practice. still play with it but if it hurts stop asap and put ice on it. for stretches you can cross your arm over your body and hold. or you can hold your hands and reach into the air.

    hope this helps!

  3. DON'T PLAY ON IT!  When you blow your rotator cuff the next time you could be talking surgery and be done with volleyball.  I'm sure there are other girls on the team that can serve and help win.  A rotator cuff injury can be really serious and playing on it if you're unsure isn't a good idea.  Besides would you rather sit out one game and have a healed shoulder for the next?  Or play and get really hurt and be out for the season.  Theres more than 6 girls on a team for a reason.  Just make sure you're at the game to give them tons of support!  Heal soon!

  4. just do wut your trainer says!!!
