ok what kind of exercise should i do to be n shape for volleyball

  1. do a lot of jumping, also sprints help. At my practices we run and dive to the ground and then roll.


  2. I do lots of squats (wall jumps) to help with blocking and controlled jumping.

    Bend to touch your toes DO NOT BEND YOUR BACK! Bend  at your knees. When you touch your toes, you should be almost sitting on your heels, then jump from this position and reach up with your arms as if you were blocking.  Push yourself to jump high every time.  Do these in sets.  Start at something easy like 4 sets of 25 and increase over time.

    You can work your calfs by doing Calf Raises,  Google that if you don't know what it is.

    Muscles to concentrate on:

    Legs- Thighs and Calfs for jumping

    Core- Abs for body control

    Arms don't necessarily need to be strong,  Hard hitting is more about arm SPEED than strength but pull ups and pushups never hurt anyone.
