  1. One of my favorite sports is volleyball! Give 110% in all aspects of the tryouts, if you don't make the team, don't be sad, you could try tennis, tennis and volleyball have alot of similarities, or you could just practice for that whole entire school year, that way you will be awesome at tryouts next year!

    Hope i helped

  2. do everything you can to stand out. wear neon socks, a tye die shirt, frilly ribbon, anything to make the coach notice and remember you. also, be energetic, enthusiastic, and a team player. shagging balls, husseling and things like that really makes the coach remember you. hope i helped!

  3. Just do your best. When your going through drills try your hardest. Run every where. Coaches also look at your coach ability and your potential and if your a team player. So cheer on your teammates and be positive. Help others out. Call the ball and go for it, don't expect someone else to get the ball. Good luck

  4. go for it join them  show them what you are made of.

  5. Do everything you can to hit that ball! Be aggressive, yet a team player.  When I tried out, my coach hit the ball towards the floor....at the time I didn't realize that I was suppose to do a dive hit, and for that mistake, and some others, I didn't get on the team.  But don't be afraid to hit that ball.  And give it all you've got! Good luck, and I hope you make the team!  :-)

  6. I play for the JV team at my school. There are a BUNCH of girls that are REALLY good in grade ahead of me, so I know how you feel. What I try to do is, when I'm playing just forget about everything off the court and think about playing. The best advice I can give is just try to show the coaches that you care and that you really want to be there. Trust me, the coaches can see when you are trying your hardest and they can see when you aren't. If they see some of the girls that are "really good" not trying and they see you trying, they will be impressed. Oh, and be sure to show that you are totally 100% committed to the sport.
