Volleyball Tryouts- freaking out?

omg, this is my first year trying out in volleyball and im not sure if im going to make it. im going to 10th grade so that means i have to make JV. HELP! wat can improve me quickly. ive never played volleyball before but i love it. wat are good tips to play good.

remember this will be my first year trying out. i have to make JV. give me tips and lots of them plzz. ill appreaciate it!

Just practice a lot, make good grades, and make sure you have a good attitude because the coaches look at that too

Just keep your confidence, and keep your nails cut!! I played in gym once and broke a nail - it hurt!!! Good luck, I'm sure you'll be great. Passion is 90% of it!

Well, because you have never played before the coach wont look at you for skill. He will want to see if you will hustle and be willing to learn new skills from him. Of course the coach wont expect you to be the best, tell him that you have never played before and you are willing to try your hardest and listen to whatever he teaches you. Trust me i am a boy and play university, and coach JV girls. Every year theres someone like you trying out for the team. Me and most other coaches agree that you guys should have a fair chance. So if you can prove to him that you want to play you will have no problem, but do you know what uniforms you have to wear, i had girls quit because they had to wear spandex and they did not have good legs for it, heres a picture of what you will have to wear, but the uniform shouldn't make you decide on weather or not you want to play right, its if you love the game

practice at home buy a volleyball and a net and play at home star with serving and then hiting the coaches always want ppl who can serve good
