Volleyball Tryouts ?

so, my schools volleyball tryouts are tuesday and i really want to make it. i'm going for varsity which is 7 & 8th grade so i have competition. i have actually never played, but i really want to start. any tips on playing, or how to look at tryouts? like what to wear, and my hair. school colors- green and blue. Trailblazers.

wear ur hair in a ponytail and if u hav bangs clip them up.  wear a white shirt and spandex cause thats what u usually wear. practice ur sets and remember the triangle position. move ur legs and bend down so u can run for the ball eaier NEVER just stand theirr or run for the ball with the bumping position. It slows u down when u run.  Try to make all ur serves and dont worry cause there will b many pple that hav no idea too

Okay first it does not matter how you look. Just wear something comfortable you can run around, bend and move in. For your hair tie it back and if you have bangs put those back too, because you don't want something in your face. So, for tryouts don't be afraid to bend to get the volleyball. YOU DO NOT WANT THE BALL TO JUST BOUNCE PAST YOU, because you won't get on the team with those skills. Also, make sure you have knee pads and the volleyball elbow pads, so if you dive it won't hurt. Also, ask the coaches how to put your arms in the position so you know how to hit the volleyball the correct way. Everything else is just like how well you bunt, serve, and hit.

I think appearence is not important. In order to be recognised you must revealed to them your devotion to the team by showing your skill ant commitment. I have played volley ball for 7 years and played for the juinor Australian team. I have never been chosen due to my appearence even and smaller levels of skill. Try practicing control on the ball as thats the main part of the game.

Okay:

Wear your hair in a clean, sleek ponytail. Show them you're devoted to the game, not your looks.

But natural makeup helps. (Mascara with not-so-noticable but cute lipgloss.)

Blue and green's your school colors, right? So if you can have a blue or green (or both!) ribbons in your ponytail. School spirit :)

And also your gym shorts could be green or blue. Your shirt should be a plain T, unless you want it to be your school colors also. But it looks cleaner that way.

And have fun! Of course they look for talent, but they also look for how well you're into the game.

so first of all you should wear sweat shorts and a sporty shirt

just put a head band on and put your hair up and wear neepads if you have some

when ever you wanna hit the ball say "mine" and try to dive for the ball

good luck. just focus. get your serves over no matter WHAT it costs and   always always always go for the ball and call it loud! if you do those, no matter how bad you suck you'll probably make it

well idk much about vollyball. just try ur best.

but wear like blue or green shorts or something

and put ur hair in a pony hair with a cute elastic.
