  1. It doesn't mean your setter sucks, but it could. To start hitting with a setter, I would try our Triples. It's where theres a setting line, 2 lines of girls, and a serving line. Also known as Queen/King of the court. The server serves the ball, then the other side receives and returns, you play back and forth til the ball drops. You can edit this game so that the team has to use the setter, so that way they can get used to controlled bumping to one person or that they have to have 3 hits, ect. I know my team last year did a drill where we had one line of girls with a ball then one line went through and they would bump, set, spike back and forth and move through. That could help and also there was a drill where we would have one line against a wall, and they set it along the wall to each other. I hope it helps!

  2. My freshman team is having that problem too, but we're starting to get better when we practice with a setter in the game formation and scrimmage with other players on our team.

    Hope that helps.

  3. thats cause a setter can make or break a team. apparently yours help to break it. the setters just have to get better and you'll be fine. and you guys in general need to work on playing as a team. dont worry, it will work in time.
