  1. ignore it

  2. Oh, what would I do? I think that maybe you should go through the rest of the season and just deal with it. Like some of your other answers, I thinks that you and your team should just be your own coaches and be there for advice and the other teammates. Just have fun and make the best of it!

  3. Ooohh!!! I feel for you.  It's very hard to be in a situation where the negativity is like a 1,000 pound weight and you feel trapped.  It sounds like you are bottling everything inside and are ready to explode.

The important thing here is to look at the big picture.  This club is a business and wants to make money (or stay in business).  The coach is also learning and needs feedback to become a better coach.  You need to get through the next couple of tournaments with some sanity.

I suggest that you struggle thru the tournaments and complain after the season is over.

During the tournament, don't rely on the coach to be positive.  The coach isn't going to change. You have the power within yourself to give yourself what you need.  If you need a pat on the back, pat your back.  If you need to get fired up, do it.  You also have the opportunity to be a leader.  Pat everyone's back for something positive - everyone does something right.  Tell everyone that they are doing good.  Make these tournaments as positive as you can, play your hardest and have fun.  In other words, don't let the coach affect your attitude on the court.

After the season is over, talk to the key parent, club director or other coach.  Do it because you want the coach to learn.  Be calm and let that person know how you feel.  Give them specific examples, but also tell them what you have learned from the coach.  I know that this coach isn't the worst coach in the world.  You had to have learned something to win 3 games.

But, most importantly, realize that you have the opportunity to learn valuable life lessons from this.  By turning this into a positive experience, you are learning skills to help you overcome adversity.  You are learning how to be positive in a negative situation and that will be a great skill during your future employment.

  4. tough it out for the rest of the season and then try and find another team

  5. just tell the nice coach how do you feel and make sure she tells the mean coach then if she asks you just explain her calmly and just tell her. im sure that shell understand. remember to tell how everybody feels too.

    thats my opinion. =)
