  1. My sister is on the volley ball team, And I have seen her workouts and they push them all really hard so i think you should bring the following :

Water | - To cool you down with, Or Gatorade.

Knee Pads | - Trust me when you go to dive for the ball it dosnt feel good landing on your knee caps

Hair band | - Maybe to keep hair out of your face

Bag | - To put everything in

Shoes | - With good traction.

  2. JV is easier than Varsity, at least where I come from. I recommend court shoes or shoes with good arch support. Also some knee pads, and have them be the skinny ones. Not the ones that are like giant pads. Have fun!

  3. if your going to be a fresh men then there will be weigth lifting, runnig the track, and peer pressure.

  4. What to buy

-at least 3 pairs of spandex

    -seamless thongs...lines are not fun

-a small duffel for all your stuff

-good court shoes (addidas vuelo climacool : )

-skinny kneepads .....mizuno ones r nice

    -5 pairs of knee socks

    I also recommend

    -active ankles

    -dri-fit tees

    -and a good deoderant

    -gatorade

you can find it all at

    -sporting goods store

    - wwsport.com

    Tryouts

-be prepared to be tested on all skills

-expect to be run down...they will want to see how u react tired

-you'll prob be nervous but so will a load of people so just relax and do your stuff

-make sure to up your protein intake ...if you eat it b4 working out it makes it easier and after it helps your muscles rebuild so its less sore ( i recommend a bar with 20g like Cliffs Bodybuilder...chocolate peanut butter)
