  1. Don't eat sugary stuff before a game....you get a sugar high and then become really tired...so its not a good idea. Other than that there really isnt that much that is a "volleyball diet". Just eat healthy foods.


  2. the one rule that our coach told us is that she NEVER wanted to see us drinking pop.  It slows you down and does make you gain weight.

  3. nothing dairy besides milk,  nothing fried, VERY little sugar, no carbonated drinks, lots of fresh fruit and veggies,  fish and chicken only,  and before games [[a day or a 4 hours before]]  eat pasta for energy.  LOTS OF WATER

  4. Cut out sugars.  Don't drink soda or energy drinks.  Sugar gives you an unreal energy burst that you want to avoid so that you can last longer for tournaments.  Keep yourself hydrated.  You don't want muscles cramping up.  Everything in proportion.  Don't eat to much before games or practice.  Carbs are very good to keep your energy up so something like spaghetti and breads.  Eat fruit and salads.  Whatever you do make sure you keep it constant.  One thing your body won't respond well too is a major change.  It's going to take time to see results from your diet.  So don't eat a set diet one week and then get discouraged and start something new.  Keep yourself full.  Not stuffed and not a little hungry but full.

  6. as long as u keep in shape and wach what u eat u will b fine. and im sure u are all ready in perfect shape if u play volleyball

  8. hahaha.. i was in Varsity VB ...and i almost ate everythig...but yea cut back on soda and fatty stuff!!

    and enjoy ur VB season

  9. salad with yogurt and tons of exercise try jogging, running, and some crab suicides

  10. No pop or especially diet pop because of sugars & aspartame & other bad stuff.

    A lot of salad, protein,carbohydrates for energy.

    Dasani plus water works great for me.

    A lot of anti-oxidants

    Normal purified water

  11. If anyone says try energy drinks don't listen to them u will be peppy at first then you'll crash! No more sugars or fats but lots of protein!! AND exercise!!!!!!!!!!!!!
